We are looking for you as soon as possible in the area of DTC Merchandising & Planning at our headquarters in Idstein as DTC Manager Planning & Allocation (m/f/d).
The story begins
  • Development and implementation of merchandise planning strategies to achieve sales, margin, and inventory targets for all product categories and channels.
  • Close collaboration with the Retail Financial Planning Team.
  • Driving inventory planning and management strategies to optimize stock levels, ensure availability of key products, and minimize excess stock and markdowns.
  • Demand forecasting using historical data, trend analysis, and market information to predict sales and determine the correct stock levels.
  • Utilization of all channels as needed to maximize full-price sell-through and margins.
  • Collaboration with Supply Chain/Orderbook and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products and effective stock replenishment, thus improving availability.
  • Top-down planning of sales, OTB budgets, markdowns, and inventory (additional information: by month, store, category, product group).
  • Alignment between top-down and bottom-up planning.
  • Management of the order book and in-season management.
  • Preparation of weekly/monthly reports.
  • Detailed weekly analysis of seasonal performance.
  • Creation of evaluation criteria for decision-making.
  • Development of action plans for the season to achieve financial goals.
  • Recommendation of markdowns and promotional measures.
  • Continuous development of planning and BI reporting tools.
Your proven path
  • Completed studies in business administration or equivalent education.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position.
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Enthusiasm for working in an international environment.
  • Independent, structured working style, flexible and motivated.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Hands-on mentality and team spirit.
  • Experience with financial planning tools.
  • High motivation, team spirit, and flexibility.
