The story begins
- Responsibility for supply planning and fulfilment based on demand planning for Jack Wolfskin worldwide and balancing stock and incoming deliveries.
- Responsible for the demand planning and fulfilment process for a specific region, e.g. DACH, EU, North America, or APAC.
- Responsibility for translating the revenue plan into the demand plan in cooperation with the finance department.
- Responsibility for general demand and supply topics related to purchasing analyses and SAP processes.
- Responsibility for defining and implementing strategies to improve key business metrics, including forecast accuracy and forecast errors impacting customer service and inventory.
- Coordinate delivery operations between HQ and regions to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting demand, delivery fulfilment, and maximum transparency.
- Manage the monthly regional S&OP process from HQ as the interface to the S&OP team. Support the implementation and optimisation of the process in terms of demand planning, supply planning, supply fulfilment, and reporting.
- Preparation and handover of the purchasing plan, including the required delivery, to the purchasing management/P2P team.
- Work with sales to monitor supply and demand trends and required delivery.
- Analyse monthly sales planning and ensure that requirements are as accurate as possible.
- Participate in supply chain business planning processes, determine safety stock levels, manage inventory tracking and reconciliation processes (i.e. actuals vs. plan), and identify/implement opportunities for inventory reduction.
- Work with marketing/sales groups to make customer allocation decisions by analysing historical demand, available supply, and customer prioritisation.
- Create and monitor KPIs and dashboards to provide visibility into operations across the business.
- Create and manage supply vs. demand reports. Ensure cross-functional actions are taken to achieve better execution performance and desirable inventory levels.

Your proven path
- Degree in business administration, supply chain management, or comparable.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in demand planning, procurement planning, merchandise planning, or sales planning and analysis.
- Strong management and communication skills.
- Results-oriented, with the ability and desire to effectively lead and manage a project from start to finish, both in time and with desired results.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, practices, and principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the supply chain.
- SAP experience, ideally S4/Hana.
- Experience with MRP systems and consumption forecasting.
- Expertise in BI solutions (BW and Power BI).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office products.
- Experience in the textile industry in a comparable position.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Structured, planning, and methodical approach to work in order to achieve the set quality requirements and company goals.
- Enjoy developing and analysing data to solve new and unfamiliar problems.
- Enthusiasm for cross-functional daily interactions in a multicultural work environment.
- Independent and structured approach to work with a strong focus on results and a "hands-on" mentality.
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to identify problems, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure positive outcomes.
- Project management skills.
